The Aversboro Kid’s Ministry seeks to partner with parents to raise up the next generation of God-fearing, Jesus-loving, disciple-makers. We teach children how to: study their Bible, develop a foundation of solid Biblical learning, and actively live out their faith at school, on their teams, and at home.

9:30 AM | SUNDAY SCHOOL (Bible study for all ages - parents too!)
11:00 AM | WORSHIP + Kids Worship (an optional mid-service activity for K-3 grade)
Child care is available for babies-Kindergarten.
As part of our 11:00 am worship service, our Director of Families & Children invites all kids to come to the front of the sanctuary for a brief devotion and prayer. Afterwards, kids in grades 1-3 may leave the service, with our volunteers, for Kids Worship - a time of songs, Bible story, and fun. New to the fall of 2026, our Kindergarten friends in child care come over to the Kids Worship Room and join us! All K-3 grades should be picked up at the conclusion of the worship service in the Kids Worship Room.
On your first Sunday morning visit, we recommend parking in the lot off Claymore Drive and use the entrance at the top of the steps. You'll be greeted by an Aversboro member and they'll be happy to point you to our check-in station.
Because we value safety, we will need some information at that time including a family member's name, child's name, emergency contact phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).

6:15-7:30 PM | MUSIC, MISSION FRIENDS, EXPLORE THE BIBLE (ages 2-5th grade)
We have two choirs - Preschool (ages 2-Kindergarten) and Kids (1st-5th grade) - that rehearse weekly during the school year. They give a performance twice a year on Sunday morning during our normal worship hour (11:00 am).
Preschoolers also learn Bible stories, play, and hear about people from all over the world who tell others about Jesus.
Our 1st-5th grade kids split into two groups - 1st-2nd and 3rd-5th - to explore the truth of Scripture in its biblical and historical context. The Bible comes to life as they unpack the transforming truth of God in a manner that is practical, age-appropriate, and sustainable for a lifetime.
