The Mission
To Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and to Minister to the needs of the congregation,
the community and the world
through the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
The Great Commission
Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." -Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." -Acts 1:8 (NIV)
The Great Commandment
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." -Matthew 22:36-40 (NIV)
The Great Commitment
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. -Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)

The Vision
As a Great Commission Church:
We honor God through worship on a personal and intimate level. Our highest priorities are biblical teaching, prayer, and engaging worship in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. (Revelation. 4:11; Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 22:37; Luke 19:46)
We connect people through small groups because no one should stand alone. We offer small groups designed to foster friendships and Christ-like relationships in a safe and caring environment. (Hebrews 10:24-25; Matthew 22:39; Acts 2:42; John 15:13-14; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
We grow believers through discipleship by providing Bible studies designed for a deeper and more meaningful walk with God. We encourage believers to pursue the goal of spiritual maturity and Christ-likeness through a developing relationship with Jesus Christ. (Colossians 1:28; Colossians 2:6-7; Ephesians 4:14-15; Romans 12:1-2)
We reach non-believers through intentional evangelism.
We equip believers to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ. We encourage every believer to develop relationships with non-believers with the goal of sharing their faith and inviting them to accept Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; I Peter 3:15; Romans 10:17)
We serve others through ministry teams and mission teams. We encourage believers to use their God-given gifts and talents to serve Christ and one another by reaching out to others, investing in their lives and inviting them to Christ and the Church. (Acts 1:8: Mark 10:43-45; Micah 6:8).

Church Covenant
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations. We also engage to maintain family and secret devotions; to bring up our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings; faithful in our engagements and exemplary in our deportment of them; to avoid all tattling, backbiting, and excessive anger; to abstain from the sale of, and use of, intoxicating drinks as a beverage; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior.
We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and mindful of the rules of our Savior to secure it without delay. We, moreover, engage that when we are removed from this place, we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word.
