World Changers

World Changers is a hands-on mission’s experience for students who have completed 6-12 and college students! Students learn missions firsthand by becoming personally involved in sharing the gospel and meeting needs of people. Students are able to put their faith into action by serving others and sharing the message of the gospel to see lives impacted and commitments made to Christ as crews spend time in the neighborhoods where they are working.

In 2019, we will be joining with other teenagers and adults from across the country in Chattanooga, TN. It will be a great week of sharing the Gospel and serving others! Student teams will be involved in helping to improve the living conditions of residents in the community who are unable to provide for themselves. Projects include such things as - siding, building decks and ramps, yard work, painting, and more! During the project we will also have time to worship with local churches, prayer walk in neighborhoods and explore the culture of Chattanooga.

World Changers offers construction projects for students who have completed grades 6 through 12) and college participants. On the first day of the project, students will participate in crew-building exercises and basic team skills. Work crews of 10 to 14 members from various churches are assigned to work together in home repair, painting, and other construction-related tasks. An experienced construction person will lead each crew (Crew Chief). The goal is to have at least two people from the same church on each crew. Safety is emphasized throughout the week. Evenings will be devoted to music, worship, church group devotions, and other special activities.
