Gospel Above all- Sept. 4-Oct. 23

Wednesday Evenings // 6:15pm-7:15pm // Room 131 // Facilitated by steven meyer // Cost: $10(per book)

"Is Christianity dead? Pundits may be writing the obituary of historic Christianity, but the postmortems are premature. Jesus promised to build His Church and said that the gates of hell would not prevail against it. Along with this promise, Jesus gave clear instructions for how the Church would prevail. He promised to build it on the Rock of the gospel.

This eight-session Bible study will give you a fresh perspective on the supremacy of the gospel over the trappings and temptations of modern society leading us to greater awareness and practice of gospel culture, gospel mission, gospel renewal, and gospel unity. In the video sessions, J.D. Greear is joined by David Platt, Jen Wilkin, Vance Pitman, Walter Strickland, Rosaria Butterfield, Greg Laurie, Albert Mohler, and Kevin Smith to examine what it means for believers to elevate the gospel above all other priorities in our lives and in our churches."

PSALM 23- SEPT. 4-OCT. 9

"Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the great shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?"

The Book of James- oct. 30-Dec. 11

Wednesday Evenings // 6:15pm-7:15pm // Room 131 // Facilitated by Brad Alford

True faith produces fruit. A faith without action and without life change is ultimately a dead faith. The book of James speaks to the realities of a living faith in Jesus—the kind of roll-up-your-sleeves and get-your-hands-dirty discipleship that is borne out of an authentic relationship with the risen Lord. James writes to believers who know what it means to suffer, who've faced trials, and who ultimately desire a deep relationship with God.

Francis Chan unpacks the dense truth contained in the book of James in front of the iconic backdrop of San Francisco, the city where he lives and ministers. Through 12 sessions, Francis works through James verse-by-verse, challenging followers of Christ to move beyond a private, intellectual knowledge of God and His Word, to a vibrant faith that impacts every square inch of life.
