CentriKid 2024

CentriKid is a high-energy, intentional, gospel-centered overnight camp for 2nd–5th graders (2nd grade meaning just finished 2nd grade by Summer 2024). Their mission is to help kids learn more about the message of Jesus Christ and to have a great time at camp. This takes place through track times, rec, worship, Bible study, church group time, and a variety of other fun events. CentriKid Camps provide content rooted in Scripture, at a safe location, with kid-friendly programming, and with staffers who are deeply invested in ministering to kids.

Our Centrikid venue this year will be at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC on July 8-12 (Monday thru Friday).

The theme for Centrikid 2024 is "Wow Factor: God Gives Great Gifts" with its inspiration coming from 1John 3:1a - "See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children - and we are!"

Aversboro KIDS

The Aversboro Kid’s Ministry seeks to partner with parents to raise up the next generation of God-fearing, Jesus-loving, disciple-makers. We teach children how to: study their Bible, develop a foundation of solid Biblical learning, and actively live out their faith at school, on their teams, and at home.

Your kids will have the opportunity to participate in Kids' Worship and small groups every Sunday in a very safe and kid-friendly environment. Our kid's area is located on the south side of our building. You can enter through the entrance at the stone stairway and check in your child.

Family Worship Resources

What To Expect?

On your first visit, just look for the Preschool or Kids Check-In area when you come inside through the entrance at the stone stairs located on the South side of the building. You'll be greeted by an Aversboro Kids leader eager to meet your family and they'll be happy to share how Aversboro Kids works. They will be there every step of the way (right up to your child's room), so feel free to ask questions!

Because we value safety, we will need some information at that time including family member's name, child's name, birthday, address, Emergency Contact phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.).

How Secure Check-In works

In Aversboro Kids, safety is a core value. It's why we have a secure check-in system. Our Check-in Desk is located in the hallway at the entrance at the stone stairs on the South side of the church.

When you arrive, you will check in with an awesome kids volunteer. Once we've gotten the information we need to keep your little safe and secure, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child must wear the name tag portion and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show your child's class leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from his/her room. This is for their safety and security - to make sure kids are only released to the parent or guardian with a security sticker.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either text/call you or we maypage you with our pager system (only for babies to 2-year-olds). We ask that you immediately head towards your child's classroom and an Aversboro Kids leader will be waiting for you there.
